Congratulations to our Southern Branch Widows Club on celebrating its 40th birthday! 🎉

Forty years of Legacy widows connecting, supporting one another, and sharing friendship on the Peninsula is a remarkable milestone. Thank you to everyone who has helped build such a strong and caring community over the decades. Here’s to celebrating the memories, friendships, and enduring Legacy spirit that continues to bring people together.

Helen Fleer is joined with Legatees Rick Moore and George Chryss.

This Volunteer Week, we want to recognise and thank the incredible 51 Legatees of Mornington Peninsula Legacy.

Our organisation runs on their generosity, compassion, and dedication. Every day, they give their time and energy to support the families of veterans right across the Mornington Peninsula, making a real difference in our community.

We are deeply grateful for everything they do and proud to celebrate their contribution this Volunteer Week. 💙

On a lovely Autumn day (today) some of our Frankston Laurel Club ladies ventured to San Remo to enjoy a fish’n’chip lunch at the San Remo Co-Op. It certainly was a perfect day. We arrived in time for the Pelican feeding, they are magnificent birds and bigger than you think! I certainly wouldn’t want to get caught between them and their food. 🐟
With some time to spare we travelled over the bridge to purchase some scallop pies to bring home. 🥧

It was a pleasure today to stop by and wish the lovely Ronnie a very Happy 101st Birthday. Ronnie enjoyed a birthday lunch with her family and lots of calls from her grandchildren.
Happy Birthday Ronnie from all of us at Mornington Peninsula Legacy.

This Anzac Day, we are reminded that honouring service means more than just remembering.

Now that Legacy has expanded its eligibility, your support is crucial in helping us respond to the modern realities of service.

But we can’t do it without you.

Help us ensure our veterans’ families always have someone to turn to when they need it most – now and in the future.
