Old Peninsula Soccer Club

Old Peninsula Soccer Club Old Peninsula Soccer Club - Established 2012. A community soccer club based in Mount Eliza

Old Peninsula Soccer Club was established in 2011 to provide an opportunity for past students of Peninsula Grammar to play soccer with alumni in a friendly and sociable environment. The club helps maintain links between Peninsula Grammar and its alumni through soccer, ensuring that The Old Peninsula School Association is relevant in their lives. The club also extends membership to the local commun

ity which aims to ensure the ongoing success and growth of the club at all levels. Old Peninsula Soccer Club - formerlyTOPSA Soccer Club - is an incorporated body, formerly run through The Old Peninsula School Association. The club has its own constitution, rules, and a committee comprised of club members. In September 2011, a committee made up of students from the Class of 2009 and 2010 was formed, and the foundations of Old Peninsula Soccer Club were built. The inaugural squad in 2012 comprised of past students from 2007 to 2013. Today, our club comprises around 100 members from Peninsula and the local community. Involvement with Old Peninsula Soccer Club is a fantastic way for past students and teachers to remain in contact with the school community and to engage with the wider footballing community.

Attention Flamingos! Your club needs you!

In 2026, we are unable to compete in local Sunday leagues due to player availability and squad numbers.

This message has now been communicated with all club members, and it is the full intention of the Committee to return to Sunday football in 2027.

But to do that, we need to stick together – and this unfortunate reality presents a wonderful opportunity for us to continue playing for the Mighty Flamingos mid-week at indoor soccer.

This invitation is open to current club members and old. If you have had to leave the club in the last few seasons due to weekend commitments, family, or work – then this is a great chance to keep in touch with the boys and stay fit – and have your weekends free!

We are looking for players able to play most Tuesday evenings, AND, players who wish to fill in when the opportunity arises.

To register to play indoor soccer for the Mighty Flamingos on Tuesday nights – join at the following link:

How does indoor soccer work? Well – it’s 5 players plus a keeper. We recommend one sub. So 7 players are required each week, but we can get away with 6.

We’re entering the competition at the end of the Summer season, so we have a month of warm up games before a 16 week competitive Winter Season kicks off.

Each week it will cost you $12.50, and all you need to do is transfer it to the TOPSA Soccer Club account details you already have.
I am so proud of how far this club has come since it started way back in 2012.

We’ve overcome enormous challenges, and this is one of the biggest we’ve had to face as a club.

But with regular indoor soccer mid-week, and a group of boys together at another local club, we are confident we’ll return in 2027 because we know how important the club is to many of you.

We've got so many life-forming memories at this club. The friends we’ve made, the experiences we’ve shared together, the club relationships, marriages, and babies! We’ve honestly had absolutely everything!

And the Committee will fight incredibly hard to keep all this going next year.

Our weekend results are in!

The men’s team had a surprise rest after a forfeit against Strathmore.

Meanwhile our women’s team finished their season strong despite a side of 10 against Aspendale SC away. Securing a runners up result for the season. Well done ladies!
