Yesterday, members of the Mornington Peninsula Satellite Club gathered to discuss both current and future projects aimed at supporting our community and beyond.

We reviewed ongoing efforts like our support for EndTrachona, and the care packs sent to the Bonya community. We discussed supporting the Bonya community with other needs they have. and also supporting MSFIN further.

We also discussed collaborating with other local Rotary clubs, including Mount Eliza, to raise funds for these important causes. It was an inspiring meeting with like-minded people dedicated to making a difference.

We’ll meet again in a month to keep the momentum going!

If you have been thinking you would like to give back to the community, we are always looking for new members! The Satellite Club is all about doing what you can, when you can.

🌿 Community in Action at Bellbird / Millbank Reserve Mt Eliza🌿

Once a month, members of the Mornington Peninsula Rotary Satellite Club proudly join the Friends of the Bellbird / Millbank Reserve for their community working bees. Together, volunteers spend time planting, weeding, and caring for this beautiful natural space so it can be enjoyed by everyone in our community.

This month’s working bee achieved a tremendous amount, made even more rewarding through great companionship, conversation, and shared community spirit. A wonderful example of people coming together to make a lasting difference for the environment. 💚

On Saturday, 9 May, members of the Rotary Club of Mount Eliza and the Mornington Peninsula Rotary Satellite Club joined Rotary Peninsula 2.0 for a beautiful Mother’s Day High Tea celebrating the incredible mothers in our lives while supporting a cause that is changing lives in Cambodia. 💐

The special afternoon raised vital funds for Heartprint, helping support vulnerable families through housing, education, food relief, and community programs designed to break the cycle of poverty.

Congratulations to Rotary Peninsula 2.0 on hosting such an enjoyable and successful event.

It was a wonderful afternoon filled with fun, laughter, generosity, and connection — a reminder of the incredible impact that communities can make when they come together to support others.

Rotary continues to make a difference both locally and globally, and events like these show how small acts of kindness can create lasting change.

Our next Mornington Peninsula Rotary Satellite Club meeting will be held on Sunday, 31 May, where we’ll be discussing current and future community projects.

If you’d like to learn more about what we do or how you can get involved, we’d love to hear from you!
