Rehab day in the animal hospital 🐑

A second tick was located on Tuesday once it was large enough to be found, additional bad haircuts 💇‍♀️ done to look for more and so far none found

20 mins in the sling today complete with leg physio, nerve conduction tests, massage and more.

She is looking good in her eyes and trying to get up and move, but her back legs are the big concern. Twice daily sling work scheduled and hopefully we see improvement early next week 🤞

Welcome to our animal hospital 🏥🫩😞

Busta managed to slice his leg open by getting caught on a barbed wire fence (his own fault being silly m) and slicing through 36 barbs, hitting an artery in his leg, massive blood loss and some serious stitches….he is in for a long road back

#21 (yes our favourite sheep) is down with paralysis tick and is being rotated every 2-4 hours as well as slung for physical therapy, daily injections and now has a really bad haircut so we could check for other ticks, and clean up the smell 😬 vet has been, tick serum administered and now the waiting game begins but she has perked up

Bloody animals 🤦‍♀️ not looking forward to this months vet bill 😟

Another year and another successful time volunteering for the Gympie Music Muster 🎸🤠

From working bees to construction to tree felling, chainsaw work, land care, painting, whipper snipping of around 60 acres of campgrounds to the festival setup during pre-muster week we do it all and the money we make from it is what keeps us ticking year round. Without it, we would be dead in the water and broke.

With almost 50 volunteers helping us since February we simply couldn’t have done it without you and I am so grateful for each and every one of you ❤️👏🥰

Big thanks to Greg and the team at the Muster for putting their trust in us 💪

Farewell beautiful Skeeter it has been a blessing to have you for the time that we did. You were so gentle and so patient, the most easy-going guy in the paddock who stole the hearts of many. 🩵🦄

Now that Jordan has been formally identified, we would like to share our sincere condolences to his friends and family 💔😢 and to the QPS officers who attended the incident

We met Jordan and his family when they visited our retreat in 2022, Jordan also brought with him a homeless veteran who ended up staying for quite a while and becoming part of the VR faRmily

Please please please if you’re struggling reach out and get help, your friends and family love you and would do anything to help, but the reality is YOU are the only one that can help yourself, those who love you can only walk beside you and support you along the way, don’t bleed on those that didn’t cut you, be vulnerable, let them in, cry out loud, let them see YOU. So many times we think we’re screaming for help and no one’s listening but in reality we’re bottling it all up, refusing to drop our armour, refusing to be vulnerable and weak cause it’s not who we are, we are warriors 💪 see you in Valhalla JK
