The Little Haven Market Place is an op shop which raises funds to help support the services provided by Little Haven Palliative Care Inc. All profits from the op shop stays in our community to fund the care provided by Little Haven. Little Haven Palliative Care is a not for profit public benevolent inst

itution and registered charity providing compassionate and professional community based palliative care to people in the Gympie and surrounding area East to Tin Can Bay and Rainbow Beach, South to Boreen Point, West to the Mary Valley and Kilkivan and North to Tairo. Our specialist team of nurse, social workers, counsellors and respite carers provide in home care with 24 hour on call nursing support to the terminally ill and their family. Access to specialised equipment loan, complementary therapies and bereavement support at no cost to the patient. This support provided to 306 palliative patients and their families this year, allows them the dignity, care, comfort and confidence to remain in the place of their choosing. Care provided at the right time in the right place, with a focus on improving both quality and quantity of life. In addition Little Haven provides support to patients dealing with cancer and chemotherapy, bereavement support to community members dealing with grief and loss, education to health professionals and the community information on palliative care, death and dying and loss and grief.

To celebrate National Volunteers Week 2026 the Market Place Volunteers (aka legends) ❤️had their best week ever 🙌 on record! 🥳
They work so hard and they help out so many people in so many ways through their many acts of kindness.
Thank you to one and all who make our Market Place - a completely volunteer and community driven venture, so successful.
