The Butterfly 🦋

Represents transformation, new beginnings and hope.

The butterfly is not only our logo, but a symbol of the strength and resilience within every single woman in our community. Transformation rarely happens overnight, it’s a step-by-step journey of courage, patience and persistence.

Take a quiet moment today to look back on how far you've come. In what ways have you transformed along your journey?

MEET OUR ONLINE MENTORS 🦋

L-R: Shalini, Marina, Mia, Tanya, Angela, Siobhan

Mentors are part of our programs to offer encouragement, connection and a friendly face - someone who can listen, celebrate your wins and help you stay connected to your wellbeing goals.

🌿 A mentor’s role isn’t to provide counselling or solve problems, but to encourage you, help you recognise your own strengths and support you as you discover what works for you.

This FREE program is about building connection, learning new tools and taking small steps towards feeling good in yourself.

Mentors are there to walk alongside you, cheer you on and remind you that you don’t have to do it alone. 💕✨

If you are interested in our 10-week in-person programs in 2027. Jump in and register so you don’t miss out.

** Frankston program starts in February

** Casey (most likely Cranbourne area) starts in April

Connection. Encouragement. Small steps. Stronger together. 🌸

Bringing the Frank to Schanck trek to life takes a whole community. It simply wouldn't be possible without the support of our wonderful event sponsors!

Their generosity ensures our walkers are supported every step of the way. We are so deeply grateful for their ongoing commitment to women’s health, wellbeing and empowerment.

Event Sponsors: Jodie Belyea MP, PARC - Peninsula Aquatic Recreation Centre, Anaconda Stores, Pressroom Philanthropy, RAW Travel, Rotary Frankston Sunrise, Frankston City Council, SMART Business Solutions, Fernwood Mornington and Community Bank Mt Eliza

Volunteers are a vital part of what makes the Women’s Spirit Project community so special!

Last week, our fantastic team of volunteers for the Frankston to Cape Schanck trek jumped on a call to prep for the big walk ahead.

A program as big as this would not be possible without passionate people coming together to volunteer their time, heart and skills. We have over 25 amazing humans stepping up into so many essential roles, including:

🦋 Track Marshals

🦋 Wellbeing Angels

🦋 Logistics Crew

🦋 Walk Leaders

🦋 Walk Butterflies

We are so deeply grateful for all of our volunteers!

Frank to Schanck is less than a month away!

Our walkers have been training hard. They tackled a 12 km walk last weekend and a 16 km walk this weekend. All of this training is working towards their journey of walking 60 km over 3 days.

Wish our walkers luck as they enter the final stretch of training!

This event would not be possible without the support of our incredible event partners: Jodie Belyea MP, PARC - Peninsula Aquatic Recreation Centre, Anaconda Stores, Pressroom Philanthropy, RAW Travel, Rotary Frankston Sunrise, Frankston City Council, SMART Business Solutions, Fernwood Mornington and Community Bank Mt Eliza

We recently held our first in-person workshop for our Wellbeing Reset and the energy was truly special. A huge thank you to our wonderful facilitators Carol, Juanita and Martine, who brought so much warmth and guidance to the session (pictured together below!).

We also want to send a massive thank you to our amazing sponsors who make this work possible: Aldercourt Primary School, Frankston City Council , Mahogany Rise Primary School, Our Place Frankston North , PARC - Peninsula Aquatic Recreation Centre and Pines Football Netball Club

Missed out on the day? You can still sign up for the online portion of the program, which kicks off on the 27th of October.

Today is International Day of the Girl Child.

Established by the United Nations, this day is dedicated to amplifying girls' voices, protecting their human rights and creating a world where every young girl grows up safe, supported and free to reach her full potential.

We understand that every woman walking alongside us carries the story of the girl she once was. For many, the obstacles faced in early life often follow us into womanhood. By supporting women as they reclaim their strength, we create a ripple effect that protects, inspires and uplifts the next generation of girls growing up beside us.
