Mount Martha Life Saving Club

💙💚 We have trained thousands of people in life saving techniques, achieved some excellent results in competition and created a culture of acceptance and fun.

Mount Martha Life Saving Club was founded in 1986 and in the last twenty eight years has enjoyed a steady growth in members to become one of the largest and most successful Life Saving clubs in Victoria. The reason for this success is that we welcome people of all abilities and ages, from all walks of life and encourage them to become active members of our club. All members contribute to the welcoming and `have a go' attitude that exists throughout our organization.

A huge thank you to our amazing volunteers who proudly represented MMLSC on Saturday and took part in the highway collection, alongside generous members of the Mornington Peninsula community.

Your time, generosity and willingness to get involved make such a difference to our community. We’re incredibly grateful for everyone who donated and supported this wonderful initiative.

Thank you for being part of it!

Sun safety starts at Nippers!

A day at the beach is all about fun, learning and making memories — but protecting our little lifesavers from the sun is just as important! 🏖️

At Nippers, we make sun safety part of the routine:
🧢 Sun-smart hats
👕 Long-sleeved rashies
🧴 Plenty of sunscreen
💧 Water bottles to stay hydrated
☀️ Being sun smart before heading out on the sand

It’s about building healthy habits from a young age and making sure our Nippers can enjoy the beach safely while learning valuable lifesaving skills.

Because our future lifesavers need to look after themselves, too! 💛❤️

National Volunteer Week celebrates the incredible contribution of volunteers across Australia and acknowledges the vital role they play in keeping our communities connected, safe and supported.

We are incredibly proud to celebrate two of our Life Members who were recognised earlier today at the LSV Valuing Volunteers event. The dedication and service from John and Pam continue to inspire our entire club community and local community.

For significant contribution to lifesaving operations through leadership at The Pillars, Mount Martha, supporting rescue and emergency response at one of Victorias highest-risk coastal locations.
Congratulations, Club president, John Harvey 👏🎉

For her significant contribution during the WWCC Compliance Project and for generously putting her hand up to support testing of the Surfguard re-write, helping strengthen this important work for clubs.
Congratulations, Club Administrator, Pam Mowat 👏🎉
