We had a great day at our Super Golf Day in aid of Childrens foundation on the 24th October. The event has been growing in both attendance and contributions over the years, and next year is looking fantastic to celebrate 30 years of Trek4kidz.
Our day couldn’t have happened without the help of many people behind the scenes. We extend our gratitude to Kim, Paul, Sue, Stephanie, and the team at Brighton Lakes, for making our day so special. We also appreciate the efforts of Justin and his team for the signage and set-up on course. Kurt and the Pro shop team are thanked for the cart setup & help throughout the day.
This year our special guest was Phil Gould from the Canterbury Bulldogs, along with comedian Paul Martel and our MC, St George great Steve Edge. We thank you all for donating your time and talents to our cause; it was very entertaining.
In moving location, we have enjoyed meeting the members at Brighton Lakes and their growing participation in the day. We have welcomed Club Sponsors Peter Warren Ford and Adtrans Hino to the Trek4kidz family, along with a number of individual members. Each year, as our event grows, we have new donors who surprise us with their generosity. This year, Brett from Snowy Mountains Shuttles played in our day and organised the most amazing auction prizes for us.
We would like to extend our appreciation to our photographer Phil Bates, who was out on the course catching the teams in action. We were able to show these during our luncheon on the big screens for a personal touch.
To Caitlin, Jess, and Evan from Starlight Children's Foundation Australia, who were on hand from 7 am to make sure the day was a success. We also thank the additional Starlight Volunteers who joined us for the luncheon.
To everyone involved in the Trek4kidz Super Golf day 2025, both Frank and I would like to say thank you, and we look forward to doing it all again next year. 👏
