Mitchell Branch meets on the first Saturday of the month at 9am!

There are 8 Branches within the Western Division region. These are in Amby, Bollon, Dirranbandi, Mitchell, Roma, St George, Thallon/Daymar, and Wallumbilla. These Branches welcome new members.

Mitchell QCWA has some ✨exciting✨ events coming up for the local community, so grab your calenders and SAVE THE DATES! 📝🗓️

The 22nd April sees the return of our Bi-annual Health Expo🏥 , held once again in the Cambridge Shire Hall. This event highlights the local health and community wellbeing services available in our community. Come grab a coffee ☕☕ from the spa, and browse the stalls of local providers who provide services for YOU!

On the 23rd April, the Mitchell QCWA Hall opens its doors to the public for a free special cooking event 🍲🥗. Supported by the QCWA Country Kitchens Team, and local qualified Dietitians and Nutritionists from QHealth Roma, this interactive cookery morning will cover topics such as recipe modification, cooking on a budget and much more! It's sure to be helpful for busy parents🧑🏽‍🍼, those who want to upgrade from the old bachelor dinner 🍕🍟🍺, and even kids who are developing a keen interest cooking!

So lock the dates in now for two great mornings of information and learning! We can't wait to see you there!

Notice: Change of Regular Meeting Time

The Mitchell QCWA Branch has long been a community institution. Recognising the changing needs and demographics of our community, we have elected to trial a new meeting day and time, with the hope that this will be more accessible to members of our town who wish to be involved with the association and the work we do!

- Our next regular meeting will be held on Saturday 18th April at 0900am at the QCWA Mitchell Hall.

- Following this, our regular meetings will be held on the first Saturday of the month at 0900am at the QCWA Mitchell Hall.

Babies, toddlers, and children are all welcome to attend our meetings. We have space available for play 🤹🏽 (and normally some yummy snacks! 🧁)

We hope this meeting change can make the QCWA in Mitchell a bit more accessible for our busy working ladies, mums, and more! If you've been on the fence about getting involved before, now's the time! We'd love ❤️ to see some new faces and fresh ideas💡!
