Last week, our clients enjoyed a wonderful social outing to the Animal Welfare League, where they were treated to a guided behind-the-scenes tour and had the opportunity to get up close to some very special furry friends. 🐶🐱💜

There were plenty of smiles as clients met dogs, cats, and other pets while learning about the incredible work the Animal Welfare League does to care for and rehome animals in need.

We were also delighted by the generosity of our clients, with many bringing along donations of towels and blankets. These much-needed items will help provide comfort and care for the animals, and the Animal Welfare League was extremely grateful for the support.

After the tour, the group headed to Kemps Creek Bowling Club for a delicious lunch and the chance to relax, chat, and enjoy each other's company.

Outings like these are a wonderful way to build friendships, stay connected, learn something new, and enjoy meaningful experiences within the community. Thank you to everyone who joined us for such a fantastic day out!

If you or anyone you know would like to join our next social outing please contact our team on 02 9603 5105.

What a fantastic day at our Bunnings BBQ fundraiser! 🌭💜

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who supported South West Community Transport on the day. Whether you purchased a sausage sandwich, grabbed a drink, made a donation, or simply stopped by to say hello, your support was greatly appreciated.

We were especially grateful to see so many family members, friends, clients, supporters, and community members come along and get behind the fundraiser. Every contribution helps support our Social Connection and Community Participation Programs, including activities such as our EMAA program and Arts & Crafts sessions, helping older people and people with a disability stay active, engaged, connected, and involved in their community.

A special thank you also goes to our amazing team who generously gave up their Saturday to make the day such a success. From setting up and cooking to serving customers and packing down, every contribution played an important part. It was a wonderful opportunity to connect with the community and showcase the important work we do.

📸 While we've shared a few photos from the day, not all of our wonderful team members made it into the pictures. Please know that your efforts were equally appreciated and helped make the fundraiser the success it was.

Thank you again to everyone who supported us. Together, we are helping create meaningful opportunities for connection, participation, and wellbeing for our clients.

🌭 Join us this Saturday 30th May at Bunnings Gregory Hills for our Community BBQ! 💙

Come down, grab a sausage sandwich and help support a great cause while supporting South West Community Transport and the programs that help keep our community connected 🤝

Funds raised through this BBQ will go towards our Social Connection and Community Participation programs, designed to help our clients remain active, engaged and connected to their community while reducing social isolation.

These programs include:
🎨 Arts and Crafts classes providing creative and social engagement
💪 EMAA (Easy Moves for Active Ageing) exercise classes promoting wellbeing and inclusion

Our volunteers are the heart of everything we do. From providing safe and reliable transport, assisting in the office, helping clients stay connected and offering a friendly smile along the way — their dedication and compassion make a real difference every single day.
