🚍 A Day of Learning, Recognition and Appreciation! 👏
Yesterday, the South West Community Transport team came together for our Staff and Volunteer Training Day, an important opportunity to learn, share knowledge, strengthen our skills and recognise the incredible people who make our organisation what it is today!
🚒 We were pleased to welcome St Andrews Fire and Rescue Service, who delivered an informative fire safety presentation, sharing valuable knowledge and practical advice to help keep our team, clients and community safe.
🚌 We also welcomed Odin Commercial and Passenger Transport Solutions, who provided important information and training on our new electric bus, helping our team become familiar with the latest addition to our fleet!
Ongoing training is an essential part of what we do at South West Community Transport. It ensures our staff and volunteers have the knowledge, confidence and skills to continue delivering safe, reliable and high-quality services to the communities we support.

The day was also a wonderful opportunity to recognise some very special members of our team!
A huge congratulations to Vickie, our CTO nominated Employee of the Year, and Theo, our CTO nominated Volunteer of the Year, who also serves as Treasurer on our Board. Thank you both for your outstanding dedication, commitment and contributions to our organisation.
We also celebrated our Staff and Volunteer Years of Service Awards, recognising the loyalty and commitment of those who have been part of our journey for so many years.
