Welcoming our newest crop of IRB Drivers and Crew! 🚤👏

Congratulations to our new IRB Drivers — Grace, Daniel, Connor, Oscar and Riley — and our new Crewies — Jack, Ollie, Stan and Tony. Great effort by everyone completing the course and taking the next step in their lifesaving journey.

This course would not have been possible without the ongoing support and commitment of Damon, Alex, Sam, Kalani and Steggie. Thank you for sharing your time, knowledge and experience to help train the next generation of IRB operators.

Throwback Thursday - Aussies Flashback ⚡

Kurrawa, 1998/99 Aussies - Chrissy and Fiona were reserves for the Open First Aid competition when a flight delay for the Tassie team triggered a last minute call up. They grabbed their chance and went on to win GOLD for the Black Swan.

Fast forward 27 years to the 2025/26 Aussies - Ellie, Chrissy’s granddaughter, and teammate Matilda found themselves in the reserve position for the U19 First Aid event. After placing 4th at States, the girls could’ve packed it in, but they kept training, stayed ready, and earned a late call up.

And just like 27 years earlier, history repeated itself - Aussie GOLD for the Black Swan 🖤🦢
