What a morning, there was royalty everywhere today.
We had a visit from our regional event ambassador, John, and a visit from our local event ambassador, Mark, and another event ambassador from lithgow parkrun was Simon and our very own new local ambassador from lithgow parkrun, Cathrine. 👏👏👏👏
Thanks for the morning, all of you.

We missed a big one today, my poor memory unfortunately.
Happy birthday 🎂 to Chris Curran on his 50th birthday today. 👏🎂🍩🍺

We had two new participants join us this week for their first ever parkrun. 🥳

We had visitors from England and Canberra.

Anniversary’s today include 300 parkruns for Simon and 200 parkruns for Cathy, well done to both of you. 🏆🏆

We had 5 first timers visit Lithgow parkrun today and 7 participants are going home with a new PB. 👏👏

Good morning to all you Lithgow parkrunners and walkers.

This weekend will be a special day for ALEX, running his first Sydney Marathon, A big effort in itself but while training for this event Alex has been thinking of more people than himself, he has been thinking how he can give back via the running community, to some people in need, he is doing this by fund raising for the Çhris O'Brien Life house.
If you can help Alex raise a little extra towards his donation fund please jump straight in and donate whatever you can afford to.
Any amount will be appreciated and it is going to a good cause.
There is a link in the post but if you would like to make a cash donation, or somewhere to put all that loose change you have collected, there will be a collection point at Lithgow parkrun this weekend.

Good luck to you Alex from all of your fellow Lithgow parkrun friends, enjoy that finish line feeling this weekend.

What a beautiful morning for a parkrun.

We had a morning full of smiles from over 50 participants today. 👏

We had a new parkrunner to lithgow today and one visitor from Cowra.
We all hope you enjoyed our parkrun.

We have 2 of our regulars, Alex and Chris competing in the Sydney marathon next week, we wish you luck. 👏👏👏

Our first male finished today was Ryan Jervis. 🏆
Our first female finished today was Maddie Flanagan. 🏆

Lithgow parkrun is just one sleep away and we are ready.
We hope to see you all there at 7:45 for our first timers briefing and that will be followed by our pre event briefing at 7:50 for an 8am start. lol 😂

Come along, bring a friend, bring your dog, 🐶 you’re all welcome.

How many free events are there these days, take advantage of this one and come on down and see us.

If you have not been to parkrun before and you are a little nervous, most people starting parkrun are the same.
We will find you a walking partner to join you for the morning.
It’s a friendly event, please feel free to come along and have a walk, jog or a run.

Lithgow parkrun is held at the Lithgow pony club grounds.
Plenty of parking and toilets available at the start area.

Thanks to everyone who came along to Lithgow parkrun #422 this morning.
We had 58 finishers with visitors from Panania, Parramatta Wollongong, Meadow Flat, and Brisbane.

There were 4 people doing their first ever parkrun..hopefully the first of many. We also had 7 PBs.

Thanks as always to our wonderful volunteers without who parkrun could not take place.

Another video experiment from the novice who is learning how to avoid trees. It’s probably best to view this on fast forward to get through the pain quickly. And apologies to those who were caught.
I’m thinking though it might be good on another occasion to do one lap of the course - it might even be helpful for visitors. Chris
