Lillydale Lake parkrun A free, weekly, timed 5k event every Saturday morning at 8am at Lillydale Lake. Everyone is welcome to walk, run or volunteer.

Lillydale Lake parkrun is a FREE weekly timed 5km event for all fitness levels, which takes place every Saturday at 8am at Lillydale Lake, Swansea Road, Lilydale situated approx 35 km north-east from Melbourne's C*D in the Yarra Valley. parkrun is not a race against other runners, but a 5k timed run and it can really be whatever you want it to be, whether that's for fun or as part of a training plan. It offers an opportunity for all the local community, male or female, young or old, to come together on a regular basis to enjoy the beautiful surrounds and get physically active at the same time. We want to encourage people to jog or
run together irrespective of their ability – this event is truly open to all and best of all it really is FREE!

Today is parkwalk for Daniel.

We honour Daniel Morcombe’s life and legacy by taking meaningful action to help create safer spaces for children, online and offline.

Day for Daniel is a reminder that child safety is everyone’s responsibility. By having important conversations, teaching children how to Recognise, React, Report and being ready to listen and believe, we can all play a part in keeping kids safe.

We'll see you lakeside for 7:50am briefing, then at 8:00am parkrun time.

Tomorrow is parkwalk for Daniel Lillydale Lake parkrun and many other parkruns around Australia.

If you are joining us, we encourage you to wear red. When we wear red, educate and donate, we’re standing with the Daniel Morcombe Foundation to take practical action for child safety. Child safety is everyone’s responsibility, and we’re proud to show our support this Day for Daniel.
