The weather was ideal for ANZAC day this year and 700+ turned out at Leopold. The speakers were succinct and to the point, the Leopold Primary School pupils were exceptional, and the Lions Club Gunfire Breakfast was so well patronised, that for the firs time ever, we ran out of food.

On the night of Thursday 9th April the Lions Club of Leopold had a visit and talk from "Scotty" and PDG Les Cropley. The subject was the advent of a very special tricycle equipped with a full racing seat. This allows blind, or otherwise handicapped persons, with the aid of a pilot, to experience the wind in their face, the sounds of birds and waves, and many other experiences. There are more of these tricycles on the way.
