Like most community clubs, Leopold Lakers is proudly volunteer run. From coaches, team managers and committee members to scorers and everyone behind the scenes — this club only exists because people give up their time for something they love.

We do it for the kids, for the community and for the love of the game.

Thank you to every volunteer who helps make Leopold Lakers what it is. We couldn’t do it without you.

Updated Committee Announcement:
Following our AGM last night, we are excited to announce updates to our committee for the next 12 months.

A huge congratulations to the following members who have stepped up to help lead our club forward:
• President - Jayson Newman
• Vice President - Troy Kelberg
• Secretary - Britta Reynolds
• Treasurer - Kellie Donald
• Girls coordinator - Jodie Nicholson
• U10s & U12s boys coordinator - Clare Rush
• U14s & above boys coordinator - Tammy Lewis and Trudy Ryder
• Uniform coordinator - Bec Gage
• Training & facilities coordinator - Trudy Ryder
• Social media / online content - Josh Buhmann
• Grading committee - Tim Gallichan
• General Committee Members - Kylie Humphrey and Jody Slater

We’re looking forward to a big year ahead. This is our largest committee we have ever had, at a time when our club has continued to grow. Our committee has a focus on making our club a great place for all players and families.

We want to sincerely thank our outgoing committee members for their incredible contribution, time, and dedication. Your hard work behind the scenes has helped shape our club into what it is today, and we are truly grateful.

A special call out to Amanda Wintle who has served on our committee for several years but is finally taking a step back. Hopefully she will continue to help coordinate our Bunnings fundraiser in November.

Our U16 Division 1 Rockets came Runners Up in the Grand Final to an undefeated side. We only had 5 players on the night but the team gave it their all and should be proud! 🚀🤍💙🏀

And what better way to celebrate than school holidays, family time, and a few (or a lot!) Easter eggs.

Whether you’re heading away, enjoying some well-earned rest, or getting down to the courts for a casual shootaround, we hope this break is filled with fun, laughter, and plenty of great memories.

One Club, One Community!

What a special moment when two of our teams go head-to-head in a grand final.
It’s a rare and proud occasion that highlights the strength and depth of our club.

While there could only be one winner, both teams played with incredible heart, determination, and respect for the game. It was a fantastic contest from start to finish.

To all players, coaches, and supporters – thank you for representing our club with pride. Today wasn’t just about the result, but about celebrating what makes our community so strong.

Champions or not, we couldn’t be prouder of both teams 🏆🤍💙🏀
