Leopold Community & Learning Centre (LC&LC) offers programs and activities to improve the health and well being of the residents within 3224. LC&LC is a registered Learn Local provider (ACFE) and offer a range of education and training programs designed to meet local learning needs. LC&LC is financially supported by Leopold Community Bank.

LC&LC Community Choir proudly presents: A Concert of Peace.
Covering well known songs of artists proclaiming peace in answer to wars that have broken out since WWII - 50's to 90's. The power of song sends a compelling message to all people(s) of Hope, Love and of course Peace in a world of Chaos.

Walking group is now two new groups. One is for more adventurous walkers who would like to go all around Geelong and the Bellarine Peninsula and the other is for people who would like a more leisurely walk around Leopold. Both meet on Mondays at 10.00 a.m. Please contact us on 5250 1301 if you are interested in either group.

Wiser Walker, Wiser Traveller.
This course includes three 2-hour sessions and shares information about a range of transport options and support services. Designed to help people aged 55 and over stay mobile, travel confidently and safely, and remain connected to the community. You’ll learn how to make safe travel choices whether you’re driving, walking, or using public transport, and you’ll be introduced to transport support and services available.

Committee of Management Positions

The Leopold Community & Learning Centre is seeking expressions of interest from prospective community members and professionals interested in joining the Committee of Management (COM) on a volunteer basis.

The Centre is located at 31-39 Kensington Road, Leopold and is governed by a COM. We are a Not-for-Profit organisation offering a range of services including; health and well-being activities, personal development, social activities, various craft classes, technology support etc. for the community.

Members of the COM are expected to:
• Have a genuine interest in supporting a local grass-roots community organisation
• Have a strong connection to the greater Leopold area
• Exhibit a strong collaborative approach to achieving community outcomes
• Contribute skills and experience to support the COM, Manager and local community.
• The COM meets bi-monthly, usually on a Wednesday afternoon, with the average commitment time estimated at 15 voluntary hours per year.
