We love this post shared by one of our scout families about helping at the Kyabram Show this morning ❤️ we love that our youth are building community engagement skills. Our emerging leaders 😊

“New skills learned

While doing our volunteer time at the gate for the show this morning we leaned how to use an eftpos machine. How great to be helping and building new skills. Just what scouts is about.”

Our joeys loved visiting the squirrel gliders this afternoon! All organised by one of our awesome Joey scouts!!

Our Joey scouts finished off the term with a puppy play date at the Kyabram Dog park. We had so much fun bringing along our dogs for a play.

Our session was made even better thanks to Vonda from Ky Paws'n'Claws chatting to us about caring for your dog and sharing some fun facts about dogs! We even had Teddy come along for a play. Thank you Vonda we appreciate you taking time to educate us all and have some fun! ❤️🐾

Please help us to welcome her in her new role and we appreciate your patience during the transition, there’s lots of fun new things for her to learn! 📚

We are so lucky to have a full team of Leaders and they have lots of fun planned for the rest of the year! 🏕️

We are so lucky to have our amazing leaders and parent helpers who make our program run!

We thank them for all of their work, dedication and love for scouting!

This week, we celebrate you! 🫶

This is what your year to volunteer looks like. Two people who have shown up, pitched in, and kept showing up, year after year.

Volunteering with Scouts gives you so much more than you might expect. It gives you a community that has your back, skills you carry into every part of your life, and the deep satisfaction of knowing the time you give genuinely shapes young people for the better. Thank you for being exactly that kind of volunteer. We are so glad you are here.
