Settled deep into the earth, the seed is finally in the place where it can start to grow.

Death comes so that new life can emerge. That's the good of Good Friday.

“Jesus replied… truly I tell you, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds.” – John 12:23-24

On the evening before he went to the cross, Jesus called his disciples out to serve each other. To choose humility over status.

In the same way, this Easter will we rise to the challenge of loving the people in our own neighbourhoods?

It might be the start of the quiet revolution our world needs right now.

“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.” John 13:34

Not every student finds their natural fit in school. This is where the Fusion Mentoring Program provides what many students need – hands-on learning in a supportive environment.

Volunteer mentors offer their time, skills and abundant patience as they work side by side with young people on practical real-world projects.

If you have a day a week available (during school terms only), some handy-man, kitchen or garden skills, and a willingness to guide a local teen as they learn and grow, we have a place for you.

Email David at [email protected] to find out more and see young people rise to their potential.

St Mary's College in Hobart brought their Year 7 students to experience all that the Adventure Based Learning at Forest Glen has to offer in late February.

It was so encouraging to hear about the impact from one staff member.

“After more than 40 years in education in and around Hobart, I did not know what to expect. I was very much impressed by the Fusion staff attending.

The Low Ropes activities were so successful in promoting achievement, which was very well reinforced by the facilitators, and in uniting groups that were previously more disparate.

Following lunch, the High Ropes were a complete success for nearly all the girls. One student who refused to climb twice, then agreed on the third element. After climbing up, she came down the tree again, with her achievement cheered by her peers.

This was one of the very best student activities I have been involved with in my 45 years in education in Tasmania.” - Staff Member, St Mary’s College Hobart
