Funding Partner We provide a monthly gift of high quality Jewish books and music to families raising Jewish children across Australia. We all know that something magical happens when you sit down and read with your child. PJ Library: Shalom provides Jewish stories to help your family engage in
conversations about Jewish values and traditions. We also run exciting events throughout the year for you and your children or grandchildren. At Shalom, we work to keep you connected and active in our community, no matter what your taste. From social to cultural, and even educational events, Shalom has you covered. We also offer young adult volunteers, groups and organisations, with support, skills and advice. We embrace and pioneer in all we do and endeavour to be inclusive and engaging across all community activities and programs. We want to build and grow with you, and as such, we invite you to participate in the fun of all that we have to offer the community. Our programs include: Shalom: Shalom Baby, PJ Library: Shalom, Shalom: SJWF, Shalom: Professional Women’s Forum, Shalom: Limmud Sydney, Shalom: Food and Shalom: MOTH. PJ Library: Shalom is a program of the Harold Grinspoon Foundation, a North American Jewish non-profit organization based in West Springfield, Massachusetts. It was created in December 2005 as a Jewish engagement and literacy program for Jewish and interfaith families raising young Jewish children. Shalom in conjunction with Jewish Communal Appeal (JCA), The Victor Smorgon Charitable Fund, Besen Family Foundation, Pratt Foundation and Australian Jewish Funders have brought this amazing program to Australia.
