It’s been a bumper year for the Dragons on Kinny Creek this year. We can’t remember seeing so many and there is always plenty of Water Dragons around in summer….but it’s the numbe4 of hatchlings this year that is really encouraging. Hoping this is another good sign indicating an improving quality to the creek over all…or maybe just 2 in partivula4 that really like each other.

Hard to believe that there’s people out there who think this is okay. Whoever is behind this you need to sort yourself out and just do better at your life….itd be helpful too if Coles themselves showed some active consideration and came and collected their trolleys as soon as they’re reported as being found like this. 2 calls and 7 days later and this little community landscape art feature is only getting bigger… we are thinking that all the price gouging and record profits each year mean that Coles aren’t really missing their trolleys too much. The crusade continues!

Doing Gods (muddy, dirty, good fun) work here. The legend himself Jono from at work with his team from sweeping the tributary of Kincumber Creek beyond the boat ramp. What a welcome site it was to see this sensational barge and an avid bunch of clean and Green thinking legends tending to the type of work so few of us are willing to do but what our local waterway is so desperately need. Bikes, shopping trolleys, street signs and whatever else are no where to be seen down our end of Brissy water and I can’t think the boys enough. I tell you what any government agency would be a nut not to continue to support the Clean 4 Shore program. Out local waterways need this type of support and Assistance to keep it free of debris and healthy for marine life more than ever. Not enough is being done by councils or government themselves so people like Jono and his army of helpers, most often students are genuine local heroes. Live their work and you should too. Get around this
