We’re so incredibly proud of you and the mountain of a journey you’ve walked Meggs.

We admire you for being so open, vulnerable and brave enough to share your story. There is something incredibly powerful about telling our stories for those who share them, and for those who hear them. For people with lived experience, sharing can be part of a healing journey and you can truly hear that throughout Meggs story.

If you haven’t heard, we’re currently working alongside Lisa Lock (The Good Copy Company) and a group of inspiring community members to create Humans of Kimba. We’ve already listened to some incredibly real, raw, honest and inspiring stories that will be reflected by Lisa in a beautiful book.
The journey has been slow and intentional because stories need time, patience and most importantly, to unfold at the pace of the storyteller. And you’ll even see Meggs feature in the book. 🤎

Thank you, Meggs for trusting us with your story. Here at Our Town, we already know just how many people you are helping through your openness and we hope this experience continues to be a healing one for you too.

Give this inspiring podcast a listen and follow Mentally Fit EP for more inspiring stories. Not only is Meggs story incredibly powerful, there’s some really valuable and practical information in there too.

Another episode drop! 👏 🎧

We’re stoked to share our next MFEP+Me chat with you, featuring Mark “Meggs” Enright 👏

Meggs shares an honest and open conversation about his love of music and the powerful role it has played throughout his life. From using music as a form of therapy and connection, to navigating people pleasing, drug and alcohol use and rehabilitation, Meggs reflects on some of the experiences that have shaped him.

This is a conversation about finding healthy ways to express yourself, understanding who you are beneath the need to please others, and discovering the things that can help you through difficult times. At the heart of it all is music, something that has offered Meggs a way to connect, process, heal and find his way forward.

Meggs also chats about Sober in the Country Ltd. Be sure to give their page a 👍

Thank you to our Season 4 Sponsor, Impact100 South Australia, for supporting Mentally Fit EP through their community giving initiative. The incredible community of members from SA, whose collective generosity helps so many initiatives across the state, is the reason we are able to continue sharing stories that strengthen mental wellbeing across the Eyre Peninsula.

A big thank you to the Community Bank Cummins, Tumby Bay, Cleve and Wudinna Districts and Community Bank Port Lincoln for supporting Mentally Fit EP through their grant programs. Wow, where would we be without these incredible banks?! Definitely not where we are, that is for sure!
