Thanks Kimba for a great show day-we hope the kids will sleep well tonight!
Thanks to everyone who attended and spent the day with their community. Those who entertained us with their pavilion entries. The vendors who fed and watered us and those who supplied us with goodies and adventure.
Never enough thanks to all the volunteers and the hundreds of hours that go into a country show, something hard to comprehend unless you’ve seen behind the scenes. Convenors, stewards, judges, the teachers who guide their class to create their art. The ‘movers’ who cart everything into position and put it away again. The heavy lifters putting up and taking down the marquee. The tech gurus, the musicians, the volunteers for emergency service stands, the machinery distributors, the cleaners, the supplier of sheep, the convenor of horses, the decorators, thr sponsors, those who lend a hand at the end of the day and those who volunteer to fill a role and the countless other roles I’ve missed because they are endless. THANK YOU for being a cog in the show wheel!

You've done your entries, now what? Time to drop them in!

The Kimba Show office is open this week for all your entry needs:

Wednesday: 10am – 4:30pm
Thursday: 10am – 7pm
Friday: 10am – 5pm

Entries close Friday at 5pm, so don't leave it too late. Pop in and see us before then to get everything sorted for show day.

What does it take to grow a healthy head of broccoli for the 2027 Kimba AH&F Show Pavilion?

Returning to our roots series WORKSHOP 2: Wicking Bed Demonstration.

We believe in reconnecting community to grassroots environmental management and sustainability, through growing and showing food together. How do we tackle water efficiency, climate resilience, and local food security right here in Kimba? By digging in and learning as a community!
On Saturday, we are excited to host Dana and Jae from Waterwize Nursery to teach us a foolproof way to grow your own food, while protecting our most precious resource: 💦💦water💦💦!
Come along at 11:00am to learn the mechanics of water-smart gardening with a demonstration of how to put a wicking bed together using easy to source materials, share knowledge, and help us grow a more sustainable future on the Eyre Peninsula.

This workshop is funded by the Eyre Peninsula Landscape Board Grassroot Grants program made possible through the landscape levy.
