**UPDATE** We have been able to secure the expertise of Adam Kurtin from Hillside Tree Nursery (Port Lincoln) to also share his knowledge on the day!

Kimba AH&F Society is kicking off our 'Returning to our roots series' with a pop up pruning workshop on Tuesday the 14th of July. Aiming to strengthen local knowledge and practical applications for growing food and sustainable practices, this workshop is utilising the wealth of knowledge we have available in our community and harnessing the power of collaboration and sharing. Strongly aligned with our Pavilion that celebrates produce in the fruit and vegetable section, we will explore fruit tree care and pruning. Please register interest to Dale or message our social media pages.

This workshop is funded by the Eyre Peninsula Landscape Board Grassroot Grants program made possible through the landscape levy.

Pavilion spotlight series - it’s easy to see Kimba has some very talented gardeners and farmers just from a drive around the district. Whether it’s fruit and veg, beautiful flowers or agricultural produce, help show case our local skills by entering the products of your hard work into the show on September 26! It’s a fun activity to plan, grow and harvest with your kids or grand kids too. Some of our volunteers have fond memories of doing so with their grandparents and we hope the show can play a small part in making memories with your special people.
