⭐ National Volunteer Week Spotlight ⭐

Another wonderful group we’d love to shine a light on is the Kimba Christmas Tree Committee. This committee has been part of our community for many years, bringing so much joy, Christmas spirit, and festive magic to families each year. From the much loved street parade and fun activities to gifts for children under 10, it’s no surprise the pageant has become such a special tradition for local kids and families.

Sadly, a committee could not be formed this year, so the pageant festivities have been placed on hold for now. If you’d love to see this treasured community event return in the future, please reach out. We’d be more than happy to point you in the right direction to get involved.

We also want to acknowledge and sincerely thank everyone who has dedicated their time and effort to this committee over the years. The memories, excitement, and magic you have created for our community have truly been something special.

✨ Reminder ✨
Join us tonight from 6:00pm–8:30pm for our Community Mingle Night as we celebrate the amazing volunteers within our community. Everyone is welcome to come along and enjoy an evening roast. Are you new to town? We would love to meet you! Come join us!!

A huge shoutout to the Lions Club of Kimba during Volunteer Week 🙌🏼💛

and just recently a big thank you for your generous sheep donation to us. Your kindness and community spirit are truly appreciated. Because of your support, we’ve already been able to use a roast for our Mingle Night, provide sausages for the Youth Hub, and also help community members in need who are incredibly thankful.

Your generosity is making a real difference in our community and we are so grateful for everything you do. Thank you for all the volunteering, care and support you continue to give. We may be a little biased, but you might also do the best donuts on the EP 😋

Another wonderful community group we are fortunate to have is the Kimba Hospital Auxiliary Group. This dedicated group is so greatly appreciated by our community. While we may be a small town, we are incredibly lucky to have such a wonderful hospital and this group plays an important role in supporting it through fundraising for projects, equipment and much needed upgrades. Thank you for everything you do for our community and hospital your contribution does not go unnoticed.

Thank you also to everyone who attended our Community Mingle Night, which was also a wonderful opportunity to celebrate and acknowledge the incredible volunteers within our community, as well as showcase our new “Kimba Volunteer Menu.” We enjoyed a lovely afternoon filled with delicious food, laughter and meaningful connection. One of the things we value most is seeing people come together, connect with one another and leave our space feeling welcomed, supported, and uplifted. 💛
