NAIDOC Week is a time to celebrate the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

This year’s theme — “Fifty Years of Deadly” — recognises the strength, resilience and leadership of First Nations communities over generations.

It’s about honouring the past, celebrating the present, and looking ahead to the future, where young people grow up proud, connected and strong in their identity.

At Inclusee, we know connection is powerful. This week is an opportunity to learn, reflect and celebrate together 💙

This week I had the privilege of moderating one of the most engaging conversations at the Ageing Australia Queensland State Conference. 🎤

Rather than a traditional presentation, the session took the form of a live debate exploring "AI in Aged Care: Essential Progress or Unacceptable Risk?", bringing together different perspectives and sparking honest conversations about the opportunities and challenges AI presents for our sector.

One of the highlights was connecting with so many passionate leaders and organisations who are committed to improving outcomes for older Australians. The thoughtful questions, healthy debate, and willingness to challenge assumptions made for a truly engaging session.

A big thank you to the event organisers, my fellow panellists, and everyone who contributed to the discussion. Events like these are a fantastic opportunity to learn from one another, build new connections, and explore how innovation can support better outcomes across aged care.

I'm looking forward to continuing these conversations and collaborating with others across the sector as technology and care continue to evolve.

🌏 Diversity in Action

At our recent Face to Face, Inclusee staff came together to explore all things CALD; and brought it to life through our Cultural Diversity Tapestry.

Each piece tells a different story. Together, they create something powerful ; a reminder that our differences are our strength.

🦋 Butterfly imagery added a beautiful layer of meaning, symbolising transformation, hope, renewal, and the journey we’re all on together.
