Cinnamon brought plenty of smiles and joy during her visit to Cooinda. Residents were delighted to spend time with her, enjoying gentle pats, cuddles, and companionship. Her friendly nature brightened everyone’s day, creating wonderful moments of connection, laughter, and happiness throughout the home. Visits from special furry friends like Cinnamon continue to enrich the lives of our residents and bring the community together.

Cooinda Court is thrilled to announce the purchase of our very first facility vehicle, marking an exciting milestone for our residents and lifestyle program. After many years of requests, anticipation, and waiting, we are delighted to make this dream a reality. The new vehicle will provide greater opportunities for residents to participate in outings, social activities, community events, and lifestyle experiences, enhancing independence, connection, and quality of life. We look forward to creating many wonderful memories and adventures together as we embark on this exciting new chapter.

Ken Hughes and Michelle have teamed up to create a true paddock-to-plate masterpiece — a delicious homemade zucchini relish inspired by Ken’s proudly grown zucchinis and Michelle’s creative kitchen magic. From garden rows to relish jars, their collaboration combines fresh local produce, teamwork, and a generous dash of country charm, proving that great things really do grow from humble beginnings.

Today was all about celebrating our wonderful volunteers as part of National Volunteers Week.

We acknowledge and appreciate their passion,care, kindness and the skills and time they generously donate to enrich the life of our residents.

Our volunteers joined residents for a delicious baked dinner and dessert ( thank you Haley )and were presented with a certificate of appreciation and a small gift. Awarded by board director Marie Knight, CEO Belinda and Care Manager Michelle.
