Great day at the Coolamon fire engine muster day.
Members from Junee Rescue Squad, Coleambally Rescue Squad and VRA Rescue NSW Search Dogs attended and what a day it was!
Trainee search dog Echo definitely stole the show. It was great day to be out in the community and mingle with other emergency services and see all their capabilities!
Once again thank you coolamon fire engine must for having us, we look forward to the next year’s annual Coolamon fire engine muster!

🚨 MULTI-AGENCY TRAINING | JUNEE NSW 🚨

Strong emergency response starts long before the call comes in.

Local emergency services came together in Junee for a hands-on multi-agency vehicle extrication training exercise, bringing together VRA Rescue, NSW SES, Fire and Rescue NSW and NSW Ambulance.

The training provided an opportunity to work together, familiarise ourselves with each agency’s capabilities and equipment, and practise coordinated extrication techniques in a realistic environment.

It’s more than just operating tools — it’s about communication, teamwork, understanding roles and building relationships between local crews.

When an emergency happens, there’s no time to learn how to work together.
We train together now, so we’re better prepared to work together when our community needs us most.

A big thank you to everyone who gave their time, knowledge and experience to make the exercise happen.

🤝 Local crews. Local collaboration. Stronger emergency response.
Proud to be training, working and serving together for Junee and the surrounding community.

🚨 CALLING FOR OLD / NON-WORKING CARS 🚨

As a volunteer rescue agency responsible for all road crash rescue, we regularly train alongside other emergency services to ensure we can provide the highest level of care and safety to our community.

We are currently seeking old, damaged, or non-working vehicles that can be donated for an upcoming multi-agency training and assessment exercise. These vehicles will be used to practice real-life road crash rescue scenarios involving multiple services working together.

🚗 What we’re looking for:

Old or unwanted cars

Non-running or damaged vehicles

Vehicles no longer fit for road use

📍 Why this matters:
This training helps our volunteers and partner agencies stay skilled, coordinated, and ready to respond when real emergencies happen on our roads.

If you or someone you know has a vehicle that could help, please message us directly or comment below and we’ll get in touch with details about collection and requirements.

Thank you for supporting your local volunteers and helping keep our community safe ❤️
Every donation makes a difference.
