Lions Club of Ingham SportStar of the Year Award 2026 Team of the Year was won by the Northern Region Open Boys Squash Team, which comprised four players from Ingham, an incredible feat for a small town. Captain Carter Bates, Carter Hague, James Smith and Nikolas Dillon finished third in Queensland against 11 regions. Club stalwart Kim Di Bella, who is away with the Queensland team, was runner-up in the PDG Des Rooker Memorial Trophy for her service to squash. She has managed the Northern Schools Team for 11 years and Queensland since 2019, doing an incredible job developing junior squash across the state.
