Our community centres are the heart of our community, bringing us together through social, educational, recreational and support activities.

Connect, create, play, learn and belong with a range of classes, events and resources. The Centre is wheelchair accessible and very close to the train and bus station.

📢 We’re closed for the Melbourne Cup Public Holiday.

Please note we will be closed Monday the 2nd and Tuesday the 3rd of November. Staff will be back onsite with regular programming fromm Wednesday the 4th of November

Please note there will be no Justice of the Peace at Hampton on Monday. A JP will be available on Wednesday at Highett Neighbourhood Community House from 1:15pm - 2:30pm.

Gentle Yoga & Movement: Wednesdays 10 - 11am
This class emphasises gentle strength, stability, and balance through adaptable practices that cater to every body.
Full chair-based options are available for seated participants alongside standing variations, ensuring a comfortable experience for all physical abilities and experience levels.

Active Fun: Wednesday 2 - 3pm
This class is focussed on helping you build everyday muscle strength, improve stability and prevent slips or falls. It is a welcoming, supportive environment where everyone can move at their own pace.
This program combines safe, functional movement with gentle, effective exercises using body weight, light weights or resistance bands.

✨ On Saturday, Highett Neighbourhood Community House held a stall at the annual Highett Road Festival "Tunes & Tastes", organised by the Highett Road Traders Association.

Working with , Family Life and Castlefield Community Centre, we delivered an interactive Children's Art Activity, featuring the "I Belong Here" community canvas and a popular "Messy Playdough Buffet". The stall activities were highly enjoyed by children and allowed for lots of conversation and connection with the local Highett community.
