β˜• First up is an afternoon tea for the Highett community. Meet your neighbours and connect with locals over a cuppa and delicious nibbles.

🏠 After chatting away, stick around for an informative presentation led by Kieser on 'How to Maintain Independence as You Age'. This practical talk will cover strength & mobility, tips for daily living, and long-term vitality.

πŸ… Suzy won Best Other Medium for her submission, β€˜Trees, Dunes & Grasses’

The exhibition runs until the 6th of September, with all pieces displayed at the Glen Eira City Council Gallery.

Amy currently teaches our Art for Wellbeing class on Saturdays, and Suzy leads several of our art classes, including drawing, watercolour, and soft pastels.

Whether you're First Aid certified, need a refresher or are new to first aid, this session will help take you on the first steps to helping someone in a cardiac emergency.

What to expect:
βœ… Learn the difference between a heart attack and cardiac arrest
βœ… Understand how to recognise when someone needs CPR
βœ… Get hands-on practice with CPR and an AED (defibrillator)
βœ… Build the confidence to take action when it matters most
