NEW RECORD!

A new high of 621 participants joined us for Stones Corner parkrun (Event number 490)

Of the 621 people who ran, jogged and walked the course, there were 110 were first timers and 90 recorded new Personal Bests.

The event was only made possible by 23 volunteers. Thank you to:

Unfortunately there was a collision and some near misses with a number of runners not giving enough respect and space to other path users. Please pay attention to the safety messages at the briefing to ensure parkrun runs smoothly without incident.

What a lovely morning and temperature for the 447 folks running and walking at Stones Corner parkrun. And what an awesome bunch of volunteers who made your run and walk possible today.

Another fabulous morning out at Hanlon Park / Bur’uda for Stones Corner parkrun event # 488.
We had 409 join us, of whom 57 were first timers and 68 recorded new Personal Bests. Welcome to our visitors from England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 , hope you enjoyed our course (sorry it’s earlier here!)

🙌🏻 Big shout out to Tim, Helen, Nicola and Amanda on our finish funnel this morning! They coordinated our big number of finishers beautifully, ensuring we were in sync the whole time. Thanks to Nicola, who also filled a last minute vacancy on Finish Tokens, too. 👏🏻

Our volunteers make parkrun possible each and every week. Without them, we’re not able to hold our events. We’re a friendly bunch, it’s fun and full training is provided.
