Stones Corner parkrun

Stones Corner parkrun A free, weekly, timed 5k event every Saturday morning at 7am in Hanlon Park. Everyone is welcome to walk, run or volunteer.

Stones Corner parkrun is a FREE weekly timed 5km event for runners of all standards, which takes place every Saturday at 7am at Hanlon Park - approximately 5km south east of Brisbane's CBD. parkrun is not a race against other runners, but a 5k timed run and it can really be whatever you want it to be, whether that's for fun or as part of a training plan. It offers an opportunity for all the local

community, male or female, young or old, to come together on a regular basis to enjoy the beautiful surrounds and get physically active at the same time. We want to encourage people to jog or
run together irrespective of their ability – this event is truly open to all and best of all it really is FREE!

It was a lovely morning and the overnight rain might have scared a few people away today as we had 271 runners and walkers join us, with 38 PBs and 36 first timers - welcome.
Massive thanks as always to our amazing volunteers: Alice, Steve, JJ, Frances, Harry, Nina, Amie, Tania, Alice, Taya, David, Matthew, Jade, Drew, Shelly, Ruth and Cara.
There are plenty of spots available for future volunteering opportunities, we’d love to have you along.

What a beautiful, crisp morning out at Stones Corner parkrun! We had 445 finishers, including 72 first timers and 65 people who managed a PB - good work everyone!
