Christian Parents -
IT'S UP TO US.
Itโs up to us to raise children who know God is righteous and just and compassionate and full of mercy.
Itโs up to us to supervise our children and know how media is influencing our kids. Weโve got to decide when to turn off, change channels, take the devices away.
Weโre not fighting them, weโre battling the beast.
Itโs up to us to observe what they think is funny and entertaining.
Itโs up to us to make sure weโre spending more time delighting in worship, church attendance ,praying and talking about Godโs imprints in our lives each day.
Itโs up to us to reach out to neighbours who need help and show how to love strangers and put our faith in action.
IT'S UP TO US.
Itโs not up to the government.
Itโs not up to the school system or the politicians or those people who shout the loudest.
Itโs up to mothers and fathers whoโve anchored their lives into the Holy Gospel that restores us.
Itโs up to us to testify
โAs for me and my home - we will serve the Lord.โ
Itโs up to us to make sure our children understand sin is sin.
Right from wrong.
And itโs up to us to share the faithful way.
Itโs up to us to explain that we all make mistakes but nothing can separate our children from Godโs love or our love.
Itโs up to us to affirm that at times life is hard. Weโre not entitled to an easy fix.
IT'S UP TO US.
Because God handpicked us to strengthen the faith in our own homes.
Children to trust & obey parents.
