Some lovely snaps from our St Emilia's Mums Group catch-up on Monday! 📸☕🌸

A huge thank you to Souzan Yaacoub
( mum and kindy teacher) for sharing such great wisdom with her talk,
"Making the Most of Your Precious Pre-School Years." 🤍📖

While we were busy picking up practical tips to help our little ones thrive, the kids had an absolute blast with some fun crafts and learning about two special feast days:

📞 They made cup phones while talking about Christ's messenger, St John the Baptist, celebrating the feast of his conception.

🌿 They also made gorgeous, sweet-smelling crosses with fresh flowers and basil to learn about the Exaltation of the Cross.

It was such a blessed, uplifting time of connection, food, and fellowship. ✨

Everyone is welcome to join in prayer +++
for their own family or for other families.

"If you so wish to give names to Abouna to pray for during the service.
Please arrive a few minutes earlier to provide the names before the service begins.

Lord, have mercy
Help us, save us, have mercy on us, and keep us, O God, by Thy grace ☦️

“Let the little children come to me; do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.”
- Mark 10:14

When they are small they don't understand the sermons.
They cannot sit perfectly still.
They cannot explain their faith.

But Jesus still welcomes them.

For every parent who has ever sat in church wondering if their little one is getting anything out of it.

Maybe you yourself missed half the sermon because you were feeding them.

Maybe you spent most of the Liturgy walking around with them.

This does not make your worship to the lord less meaningful.

You are teaching your children simply by bringing them into the presence of God.

They may not remember the sermon.

They may not understand every prayer.

But they are growing up seeing their family make time for Jesus.
They are hearing you say His name in prayer.

They are watching you pray at home and church.
They are learning that church is a place where your family goes to seek God.

The little moments that feel insignificant now may become seeds of faith that they will carry for the rest of their lives.

So don’t measure the value of bringing your child to church by how quietly they sat or how much of the service you heard.

Jesus welcomes all the little children.

And every tired or busy parent who keeps bringing theirs to church is planting something beautiful.

Keep bringing them.
Keep praying over them.
Keep showing them what it looks like to make Jesus part of your everyday life.

So they may grow in faith and to serve our Lord.

You may not see the fruit today.

But keep planting.

God sees and nutures every seed☦️
