For those of us who attended the VA Gala luncheon today it was very enjoyable. The room was full of chatting ladies getting to know each other or catching up. Our meals were lovely and we were treated to musical entertainment based around a Broadway theme. The singers were all mature people who were obviously enjoying themselves and sharing their talents with us. Our raffle prize donation was one of many and Eltham Evening View members took home four prizes on the day. A lovely day out for all.

Looking forward to this weeks View meeting at Greensborough RSL on Tuesday March 24th. Members and guests are welcome to arrive at 6.00pm for a 6.30pm start.
Just a reminder to members that we are hoping for donations for both the Easter and Mothers Day raffles.

The Easter raffle will be conducted in house and presented on the night.

Tickets for the Mothers Day Raffle will be given to members at this meeting. This will then enable the selling of tickets to family and friends prior to the draw at the April meeting.

What an enjoyable evening we had last night! So much fun listening to and singing along with the fabulous Ruby Tuesday singers! Many thanks to Maree, Claire and Sue from Contact for joining in with sales of gorgeous jewellery and cards. I think we’ve all stocked up for another year! The TradingTable was so full of great stuff and sales were full on!! Thank you to the committee for providing cakes, chocolates,fruit and decorations.

Looking forward to seeing everyone and enjoying some time together at tonight’s big 31st Birthday meeting. Greensborough RSL 6.00pm for a 6.30pm start🌷 Don’t forget to bring a couple of items for our Trading Table! Also we’ll have the ladies from Contact Community Centre selling jewellery and Christmas cards, so make sure you bring some cash. All profits to our club. I’ve been busy making some tasty stuff👍

Day 2 of the Convention was another outstanding event. A panel of members debated the resolutions and we voted. During the afternoon we had the pleasure of listening to four great writers who read a little of their book and gave us an insight into the writing process . One of the best outcomes of the conference was meeting and chatting to so many like minded women. We finished the night off on the rooftop watching the Brisbane Festival fireworks. Great weekend!
