Look at those smiles! We are absolutely thrilled to support the incredible team at Diamond Valley Foodshare as part of our Eltham Gives Back initiative!

For over 30 years (since way back in 1992!), this amazing not-for-profit has been the ultimate definition of "community helping community." 🤝

Driven entirely by wonderful volunteers, they work tirelessly to provide essential pantry staples to residents in Banyule and Nillumbik during tough times.

🌟 How it works:
Spend $30 anywhere in the venue to receive a Gumnut.
Place the token in one of the Community Jars dedicated to your preferred local group.

Happy Tuesday! Diamond Valley Foodshare reopens today at 1pm for client service - bring your referral from Diamond Valley Community Support Inc. and our friendly volunteers will assist you with quality fresh food, meat and personal items to help in your time of need.

Congratulations to our amazing volunteer team at Diamond Valley Foodshare. Tonight we were recognised at the Banyule Volunteer Awards for our service to our community. Thank you to each and every one of our volunteers and supporters who help us each week to provide emergency food relief to those in need.

A massive thank you to Rotary Club of Eltham for their generous donation of tinned food this weekend! A fantastic team effort to coordinate the Eltham community donations and deliver them to Foodshare, to help people who are experiencing food insecurity.

It's National Volunteer Week (18–24 May) - time to recognise the essential role volunteers play in communities across the country. At Diamond Valley Foodshare we have over 60 volunteers who play a vital role in helping our community overcome food insecurity. A big shout out and thank you to each and every one of our amazing volunteer team!!

At Foodshare, we are desperately short of the following food items: sugar, spreads (jam/vegemite/honey/peanut butter), sweet and dry biscuits and two minute noodles. If you can help with donating just a few of these items we would love to hear from you!
