💛 Endometriosis affects approximately 1 in 7 Australian women and girls.

Despite being common, many people still know very little about the condition.

Symptoms can include:
• Severe period pain
• Fatigue
• Pelvic pain
• Digestive issues
• Difficulty conceiving

Awareness leads to understanding. Understanding leads to better support.

Join us in encouraging conversations that help women and girls feel heard.

Soroptimist International Goulburn is part of a worldwide organisation working to improve the lives of women and girls.

Recently, two of our members attended the Soroptimist International South East Asia Pacific Conference of Clubs in Kota Kinabalu alongside delegates from 13 countries.

These opportunities allow us to share ideas, learn from others and bring new inspiration back to our local community projects.

You don't have to choose between making a difference locally and being part of something global—you can do both.

❗ Don't throw away those chip packets!
Our Chip Packet Project transforms empty foil-lined snack packets into practical items such as blankets and sleeping bags for people experiencing homelessness.

We're currently collecting:
✔ Chip packets (of any size)
✔ Foil-lined snack packets

Interested in learning how they're made?

Our members meet on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month and we'd be delighted to teach interested community members.

To arrange a packet drop-off or collection, send us a message.

Together we can reduce waste and help people in need.

One of the simplest ways to help the environment is to reduce contamination in your recycling bin.

A clean recycling stream means more materials can be recovered and less ends up in landfill.

Goulburn Mulwaree Waste Education Team is helping residents recycle with confidence through education, bin inspections and practical support.

Did you know that many women and girls experiencing endometriosis wait years for a diagnosis?

Pain that interferes with education, work, family life or daily activities should never be dismissed as "normal".

Through our Listen to Women's Pain campaign, we are helping raise awareness of endometriosis and encouraging better understanding, earlier diagnosis and improved support.

When women speak about pain, they deserve to be heard.
