Goolwa Surf Life Saving Club Goolwa SLSC is one of SA’s leading surf lifesaving clubs. We strive to keep our community safe. From there you can gain more qualifications.

The Goolwa Surf Lifesaving Club provides life saving services, education programs and training at Goolwa Beach. We aim to be a leading surf life saving club adding value to the community, dedicated to developing its services and our members. Patrols are provided on weekends and public holidays - mid October to the end of March. Conditions can be tricky, so please swim in-between the red and yello

w flags when they are flying. All you need to patrol is a First Aid Certificate and be a minimum of 13 years old. You don't even need to get wet to save a life. Our members behind the scenes that help out behind the bar, cook BBQ's, fundraise or do the administration tasks, are just as vital as our front line services. 📣 AN EXCITING OPPORTUNITY AT GOOLWA SLSC — PERCY’S BAR & KITCHEN IS LOOKING FOR ITS NEXT TEAM

Goolwa Surf Life Saving Club is seeking expressions of interest from an experienced and passionate hospitality operator to take the reins of Percy’s Bar & Kitchen from October 2026.

Sitting right on Goolwa Beach, Percy’s has grown into an established hospitality venue with an incredible coastal location and a strong connection to our club and local community.

And importantly — this doesn’t have to be a start from scratch.

The current operators have generously offered to hand over the Percy’s Bar & Kitchen brand, established social media platforms, menu and the foundations they have built, giving the incoming operator the opportunity to continue what Percy’s has become while putting their own stamp on its next chapter.

We’re looking for the next team to carry Percy’s forward — people with energy, hospitality experience and a passion for great food, great service and creating a venue people want to come back to.

For the right operator, this is an exciting opportunity to step into an established beachside venue and continue building its presence within the Goolwa community.

A huge thank you to everyone who came along to support our very first Community Spotlight by the Sea – Seaside Singalong, proudly hosted by the Goolwa Hockey Club

It was an incredible evening filled with laughter, music and community spirit. Thanks to your generosity, the Hockey Club raised an amazing $726 to support their club. 👏🏑

This is exactly what Community Spotlight by the Sea is all about.

Each month, we’ll shine a light on a different local club or community group, giving them the opportunity to host the evening, connect with our community and raise valuable funds for the incredible work they do.

Together, we’re creating more than just a fun night out—we’re building connections, supporting local organisations and celebrating the people who make our community such a special place to call home.

At Goolwa Surf Life Saving Club, we believe our community is built by the people who give their time, passion and heart to it.

That’s why we’re proud to launch Community Spotlight by the Sea—a new initiative designed to celebrate the local clubs, charities and community groups that make our region such a special place to call home.

Each month, we’ll hand the spotlight to a different organisation, giving them the opportunity to share their story, connect with the community and raise funds for the causes they’re passionate about.

Our first Community Spotlight shines on the Goolwa Hockey Club , who’ll be hosting our upcoming Seaside Singalong. 🎶🏑

This is about more than one event. It’s about building connections, supporting one another and celebrating the volunteers who help our community thrive.
