This National Pain Week (26–31 July), we're shining a light on chronic pain and offering real support to our community
National Pain Week is Australia's annual awareness event for chronic pain, coordinated by Chronic Pain Australia, which represent the 1 in 5 Australians living with persistent pain. It's a week about being seen, being heard, and connecting with others who understand.
At Macedon Ranges Health, we want to do more than raise awareness - we want to walk alongside you.
We run a FREE 4-Week Chronic Pain Program to support individuals living with persistent pain. Chronic pain can affect so many areas of life - from physical health and daily tasks to emotional wellbeing and social connections. This program provides a safe, welcoming space to learn, share, and build practical tools for managing pain more effectively.
Over four weekly sessions, you'll take part in guided discussions and presentations delivered by qualified health professionals, covering a range of evidence-based approaches to pain management. The group-based format allows for connection with others who are also navigating life with chronic pain - creating a supportive and understanding environment.
You'll gain knowledge, explore self-care strategies, and discover new ways to improve your quality of life: physically, mentally, and emotionally.
