City Council and Karingal PLACE Neighbourhood Centre are supporting Smacktalk's Unplug24 initiative and pausing from social media for 24 hours on Saturday 24 October, to raise awareness in the fight against online risks such as sexual extortion and su***de.

Join our friendly facilitator Rohan for relaxed, small-group sessions where you can ask questions, have a go and learn useful skills you can put into practice in everyday life.

You’ll learn practical skills including using the internet and search engines, understanding web addresses, staying safe online and recognising scams.

This R U OK? Day, Thursday 10 September, we’re encouraging our community to get moving, connect with others and take the time to ask a simple but important question — R U OK?

To celebrate, we’re holding a Bring a Friend Day at Karingal PLACE Neighbourhood Centre. If you’re already attending one of our Thursday exercise classes, bring a friend along and their class is FREE! 🙌

Join us for Walking Group *9.15–10.15am*, Seated Yoga *10.30–11.15am*, or Core & More *11.15am–12pm*, followed by cuppas and biscuits and a chance to connect and have a chat. ☕🍪

Community Kinders Plus – Karingal PLACE Kindergarten will be offering 15 hours of free government-funded 3 and 4-year-old Kindergarten in 2027. Located within Karingal PLACE Neighbourhood Centre, our two-room sessional kindergarten provides a nurturing, play-based learning environment where every child's individual needs are supported.
