Saturday’s June Workshop was packed, with a great turnout of members eager to work on their trees, share ideas, and admire the stunning collection of cascade bonsai displayed on the show table.
A highlight of the day was our guest presenter, Evan Marsh, who demonstrated the refinement of a White Pine he was developing for a client. Evan’s presentation struck the perfect balance between education, insight, and creativity, taking members through his decision-making process before delivering a truly impressive final result.
Drawing on years of experience and deep horticultural and artistic knowledge, Evan generously shared techniques, design principles, and practical tips that members could immediately apply to their own bonsai. His passion for the craft was evident throughout the demonstration, and the quality of his work served as an inspiration to everyone in attendance.
