A Wonderful Day at the Spring Fair!

Newcastle Bonsai Society would like to extend a big thank you to the Hunter Region Botanic Gardens for inviting us to be part of their Spring Fair today!

This fantastic fundraising event gave us a wonderful opportunity to showcase some of our Australian native bonsai and offer visitors a little taste of what's to come at our 50th Anniversary Annual Bonsai Show in November!

Visitors were also treated to two excellent demonstrations by our up-and-coming bonsai demonstrators, Pat and Lachlan. Both certainly delivered, sharing their knowledge, skills and enthusiasm in two entertaining and informative sessions.

A huge congratulations to Pat and Lachlan for doing such a terrific job representing our club!

Thanks again to the organisers, volunteers and everyone who stopped by to admire our trees, ask questions and share in our passion for bonsai.

Next stop — our 50th Anniversary Annual Show, 13–15 November at Club Macquarie!
