APC Christmas Rally 2025!

Well this year has gone extremely fast!
Last weekend we had a fun filled rally day Sunday with the option to make a weekend of it and camp on Saturday night. ⛺️ 🐴

We had riders signed off on their certificate work, and others getting marked off on there certificates working towards.

Saturday - optional
- social ride and camp! Our kids love these casual and fun social times with ba****ck rides, cross country, jumping lessons with Edwina Price and a fire to keep us warm.

Sunday saw a 9:30am start with our Christmas themed Dress ups (horse and rider) placings were given and judged by our Christmas enthusiast Belinda Laycock🤶 ! 1st went to our pair of Grinches! Alexa and Pippa Lloyd, 2nd Ivy Lees with the naught Elves and Mitchell Grigg with his very tasteful jumper and shirt. 3rd Daisy Laycock -Glitter and Bells, 4th Matilda Mulraney with the red and green ribbon and tinselled Uniform.

We had a cross country Christmas Scavenger hunt, Christmas Golf with polocross racquets and Christmas Games and certificate work to rotate through with our groups durring the morning.

A very quick pack up for 12:30pm Christmas lunch and Dessert that was yummo!

This years presentations were a little different as the APC Committee have introduced this year some amazing awards. This is a a wonderful incentive for our riders to be their best version of themselves and be rewarded for it.

Our topsy ring was an absolute delight to watch with lots of shiny ponies/ horses and smiley and happy kids!
Our riders in the Topsy ring were Molly Mara on Daisy, Floss Close on Coco, Corah Cartledge on Teddy Jo, Sid Price on Clive, Floss Keating on Jay Jay, Jemma Mulraney on Porky, Oakley Wilson on Pocket Rocket, Aria Newley on Willow, Audrey Close on Coco.
The awards were well spread out over the classes with everyone getting some placings and taking part in the lolly Scramble!
All riders were happy leaving the ring with some prizes and lolly bags.
