THANK YOU BENDIGO BANK!

We are so grateful to Bendigo Bank, the Community Bank of Victoria Point, Wynnum - Manly and the Bayside Community Fund for the incredible opportunity to raise funds for our
Play It Forward programs through their
Tokens of Appreciation and Community Raffle programs.

This unique program has supported hundreds of community organisations and charities in the Redlands, contributing over $2,200,000 back to the community - an incredible achievement and such an amazing gift to help keep our communities connected and thriving!

These funds have enabled us to engage over 1000 singers in the Redlands community and beyond - and deliver our unique arts programs with projects like the Greatest Show Choir,
Pop Choir, Rock Choir and our new Gospel Choir project launching next month, and give our wonderful members the opportunity to experience performing at Redland Performing Arts Centre, Queensland Performing Arts Centre, Myer Music Bowl, Melbourne and Launceston last weekend.

We can’t thank all our amazing singers and supporters for getting behind these fundraising efforts and helping to make our big dreams a reality!

WE RAZZLE DAZZLED LAUNCESTON!

Congratulations to all our wonderful Play It Forward members from Victoria and Queensland who joined singers in Launceston over the weekend to give a spectacular concert to the packed audience of 500 peoole at the Grand Chancellor conference centre yesterday to perform in The Greatest Show Choir!

We are so grateful to our artistic director -
Jonathon Welch AM who the led the 120 voiced massed choir with special guests CJ (Christopher Jones), Millie O’Sign and Vox Harmony Choir with Music Director Denise Sam.

Thank you everyone who helped make this special project happen including our fabulous accompanists - Sue Goessling, Adam Przewlocki and Shane Calderbank along with Matthew Jones, project manager and everyone at Vox Harmony.

We can’t wait to return and share the joy of singing together with you again soon!

BRISBANE STREET CHOIR STARTS JULY 23!

We are so excited to announce that our newest choir program for people who are experiencing homelessness and disadvantage - BRISBANE STREET CHOIR, will begin rehearsing on Thursdays from July 23 at 10.30am - 12.30pm at Andy’s Place - St Andrew’s Uniting Church, Brisbane under the leadership of our founding artistic director Jonathon Welch AM.

WE’RE COMING TO LAUNCESTON MAY 31!

60 of our fabulous Play It Forward singers are so excited to be joining our wonderful friends VOX HARMONY choir and other local singers in Launceston on Sun May 31 at the magnificent Grand Chancellor conference centre at 2pm for an afternoon of magical music theatre hits!

We’ll dazzle you with the big numbers from Chicago to Rent, Grease, Oliver, Les Mis, Boy From Oz, Strictly Ballroom, Sweet Charity, the Greatest Showman & more!

RAVE REVIEWS & STANDING OVATIONS!

ROCK CHOIR absolutely ROCKED THE REDLANDS at Redland Performing Arts Centre last Sat May 9 with the audiences of the two packed sold out concerts raving about the incredible performances from our stunning 180 voice ensemble, the costumes, lighting and extraordinary professionalism of the whole event!

SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE

From standing ovations and thunderous applause, the crowd favourites were definitely ROCK CHOIR’S thrilling performances of Queen’s ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ and the hauntingly heartbreaking stripped back arrangement of Radiohead’s ‘Creep’, along with guest soloist Ellen Reed’s rendition of Elton John’s classic ‘Bennie and the Jets’ and our artistic director Jonathon Welch AM’s beautiful rendition of Robbie William’s chart topper ‘Angels’ - leaving the audience in tears.
