RD Tim here with a wrap up of event #139, it was a cracker this morning with frost under foot at the start that gave way to superb running conditions. We had visitors from Foster and Dalby and a strong contingent of locals. The top six positions went to the girls this morning, with the boys in the distant view. Jain smashed out a PB, well done. As always thank you to our volunteers, those who turn up early, stay late, pick up cones, marshall the course, time keep or pass on the run to make our event happen. Park run wouldn’t happen or be as special without our volunteers.

If the alarm didn’t go off this morning, the cat had you pinned or you were tangled in the sheets, never mind. It’s only seven more sleeps until event #140 starts - so start spreading the word.

Hi everyone, we just need a barcode scanner for this weekends event. We could also welcome someone for finish tokens as well. Both roles can be done after a run if you would like. Comment down below if you can help

Event #138 Run Report

This morning, we welcomed 21 participants to Two Rivers parkrun in ideal running conditions.

A warm welcome to our visitors from Port Macquarie, Singleton and Wellington. We hope you enjoyed your run with us and look forward to seeing you again soon.

A huge thank you to our fantastic volunteers – Penny, Tim, Will, Jack, Clifford, Dana, Phil, Rick, Hannah and Nicole. parkrun simply couldn't happen each week without your support.

We're still looking for volunteers to fill the Timekeeper and Finish Tokens roles next week. If you're able to help, please let us know. We'd love to have you on the volunteer team!

Winter morning sunrises line up well with parkrun, we think walking, jogging or volunteering combined with this sort of scenery makes the effort of getting up on a Saturday morning worth while!

We are very grateful to have another voluntourist team from Sydney taking over most of our volunteer roles this weekend, there will be there to welcome any first timers. Join us at 7:50 for the official event welcome this Saturday!
