We don't do any of our work in the community for accolades, we just want to help. Several years ago one of our newer members talked to us about the Cerebral Palsy Alliance and how they had helped her family especially the very determined Miss A. Over the years since we have worked with our member and the Alliance. They have recently opened a new centre in Beresfield to help all families across the whole of the Hunter and our Miss A was there to cut the cake!

To the wonderful Denman community and all the visitors to the Denman RSL today, we thank you for supporting your Lion's Club. We cooked 100's of sausage sandwiches and bacon and egg rolls and we had so many repeat customers! So good, so fresh. Big thanks to the chop shop and the Denman Bakehouse for supplying the meat and the bread. We love supporting local and we much prefer super local! We look forward to working with you in the future! Proceeds from today will go to Legacy. Thanks to all of our members and volunteers including the younger members of the Champion family for bbqing the day away with us! Last but not least thank you 's Transport for your generous donation towards Legacy.

Your Denman Lions are proud to announce that we have secured an AED for the Martindale community and look forward to donating it to them tomorrow March 26th at 2pm .
It will live at the school secured outside so that anyone in the community can access it if a person in the community needs help.

Over the next couple of months Lions with the help of Denman Fire and Rescue will run an information night to teach the community how to use the AED. Denman Lions would like to thank Mangoola Glencore operations, Traralgon Lions on Victoria and the Aussie Hay Runners for supporting this project.
AED's increase a persons chance of surviving a heart attack by over 50%.
