Nerang Rd. Community Garden Nerang Rd Community Garden is a group of neighbours in Cronulla who have created a community garden.

Participation is through paid membership but visitors who want to drop in to chat or look around are most welcome.

Someone has put a large quantity of unsuitable foodstuffs into one of our compost bins. It looks like a commercial quantity, far more than a household would donate. It includes flat bread, salad greens, sauces and pickled ginger. There was even a bamboo fork in the mix. None of it was chopped finely and the mass of bread absolutely won't compost. It will remain a stinking, mouldy, contaminated mess that our workers will have to deal with. This type of donation is exactly why we DO NOT open our composting system for the community to use. Use is by invitation only.
