The Red Cross is urging the public to donate O-negative blood, as Sydney hospitals struggle to deal with demand from the Bondi Beach shooting.

The service is transporting blood bags from interstate for victims of the attack, but more is needed.

The Public Information and Inquiry Centre (PIIC) has been activated to support the multi-agency response to the Bondi Beach incident.

The Public Information and Inquiry Centre can be contacted by calling 1800 227 228. It will operate on a 24-hour basis for as long as is necessary.

The PIIC will also be the place to register for people who were forced to leave personal possessions - including vehicles - behind during the emergency. Police warn if may be some days until these can be returned to their owners.

The NSW Police Force has also activated the ‘Register Find Reunite’ capability, to assist in the registration of those who have been affected by the incident.

✨ Red Cross Coffs Harbour Trivia Success! ✨

We had an incredible morning at the Shoreline hosting our Trivia Morning, with 7 teams and around 50 people joining us to raise funds for locals experiencing homelessness.

It was Brooke’s first ever time organising and hosting an event, and what a success it was — over $800 raised! 🎉
The room was full of laughter, friendly competition, and plenty of “I know this one!” moments.

A huge thank you to The Shoreline management and residents, our amazing community groups, and everyone who came along to support such an important cause. ❤️

We’re proud to be supporting Troy Arvidson from Food Fix , who works tirelessly providing meals and practical help to people doing it tough right here in Coffs Harbour.

Thank you to everyone who made this morning so special. We can’t wait for the next one! 🙌

Thank you to The Shoreline for letting us host our trivia event. It was a great morning and huge success to raise much needed funds for our homeless community. Thankyou to everyone who joined us ❤️

A big thank you to the Coffs Harbour Red Cross for hosting a fun filled trivia morning here at The Shoreline!

Not only was it a great time for everyone, but it also helped raise much-needed funds to support our local community members experiencing homelessness.

✨ Red Cross Coffs Harbour Trivia Morning ✨

On Wednesday 19th November, Red Cross Coffs Harbour hosted a wonderful Trivia Event at The Shoreline to raise much-needed funds for people experiencing homelessness in our local community. It was fantastic to see so many friendly faces come along to support such an important cause.

A heartfelt thank you to The Shoreline for generously hosting us, and to Birg for the amazing job helping us bring this event together. We also extend a special thank you to Troy from Food Fix for joining us as our guest — proceeds and donated items from the day will be supporting his incredible work helping those in need.

Red Cross Coffs Harbour members are invited to join together at the Cenotaph at 10:30am for the Remembrance Day service.
