Do you have knitted or crocheted shapes for us? We can still collect them after 1st November so keep knitting! Come and join us to drop your shapes off and help to sew the shapes together into 1 metre lengths. Woolgoolga Library - Thursday 5th Nov and the Make Space Room at Yarilla on Saturday 7th November. Drop in and stay as long as you would like. Every little bit helps to put together an advocacy project that shows that the Coffs community says NO to Violence against Women and Girls.

Join GRACE Coffs Coast DFV Action Group in the march to Reclaim the Night - an annual global grassroots movement, started in Leeds UK in 1977, fighting for the rights of women to walk safely in public spaces, day and night.
Meeting at 5.00pm in the Hoey Moey Park, then walk to the Twilight Markets, Friday 6th Nov.

What a great community we have! These are just some of the shapes we have received so far for the Zonta and Coffs Say No yarn wrapping project for the 16 days of activism. Thank you so much from Zonta Coffs Harbour and GRACE Coffs Coast DFV Action Group. You are invited to help stitch the shapes into lengths to decorate the council controlled light poles on Hogbin Drive, and more. Look out for details of the YARN and CHAT sessions!

The Zonta Club of Coffs Harbour Inc Climate Action morning will bring together some amazing people to help you and your family become 'emergency ready'.

Movie: Floodland is an intimate Australian documentary exploring the aftermath of the 2022 Lismore floods, climate trauma, and community-led paths toward healing.
Red Cross EmergencyRedi Workshop: will support you to learn about preparing for emergencies and how to take steps towards building your own individual and household resilience.
Corindi and Woolgoolga SES: will help your community to prepare for severe weather through disaster planning, safety advice, and public warning systems.

Members of the Zonta Club of Coffs Harbour Inc had a fabulous day at our Bunnings Fundraising BBQ yesterday. What a team! Many thanks to Bunnings Warehouse Australia who support the fundraising of so many community organisations like ours. The best part of the day is meeting so many interesting and interested members of the Coffs Community. Thank you everyone!

Come and say hello to the members of Zonta Coffs Harbour who will be busy cooking sausages at Bunnings tomorrow. Saturday 10th Oct, to raise much needed funds for projects which aim to build a better world for women and girls.

It's the long weekend and it's raining! A good day to think about working on your contribution to the Zonta Coffs Harbour yarn wrapping advocacy project, supported by the City of Coffs Harbour and GRACE. Zonta is hoping to wrap 12 light poles on Hogbin Drive to draw attention to the Council Coffs Harbour Says No to Domestic Violence banners and the United Nations 16 Days of Activism which starts on 25th Nov 2026.
Supporters are busy knitting and crocheting shapes sewn into a 1 metre x 40cm length, using 8 ply acrylic yarn and 4 mm needles for consistency and in bright colours, predominately orange. Finished your shapes and/or your 1 metre length? Text 0411463592 for collection.
