With mains grid power fully connected last week, our buildings are now powered up and final commissioning of all electrically powered plant is progressing well. This includes onsite cameras and security systems, HVAC (air conditioning and heating), roller doors, elevators, solar systems and electronically controlled irrigation systems. And with internal and external lighting now operating, the buildings are brightening up the evening streetscape.

Roadworks in Cobargo’s lower main street today are now complete, the bollards removed and the street fully open for parking. Thank you everyone for your patience as the last work on the major Rebuild Cobargo project is finalised.

Great to see the final works to restore the main street road surface commencing this morning - the works will be completed over the next few days and the road fully reopened including kerb side parking in front of all the Rebuild sites.

Great to see the well deserved recognition for two of our board members on Australia Day. Shona Taranto was awarded Cobargo Citizen of the Year, and Mick Pryke was honoured as the Bega Valley Senior Citizen of the year.

The facade of Rebuild Cobargo’s Market Hall complex on the east side of the main street now much more visible following the removal of scaffolding this week. The New Post Office building to the left will also emerge early on the new year, as all the Rebuild Cobargo projects reach completion.

The adjacent New Post Office and rooftop apartment to the left is still obscured by scaffolding, but it too will emerge soon into the new year.
