On a bit more of a serious note todayā€¦.

This is something I am personally working hard on. Overcoming the fears, learning as much as I can, and equipping myself, so that I can help my kids to equip themselves too.

If youā€™re an adult, chances are, you do, or did have loads of fears around crypto. I get it - 1000%. We didnā€™t grow up with this stuff. We grew up with cash, and as much as cash is king, eventually, whether we like it or not, cash may be gone altogether.

The world is changing and we get to choose right now how we respond to that:

1/ Do we take a proactive stance and move (at whatever pace we feel comfortable with) into the digital space, learning the jargon, learning what centralised vs decentralised means, learning how to open wallets and transfer funds, learning how to safeguard assets, how to move intentionally into investments, and how to take charge of this whole ā€œdigitalā€ thingā€¦

OR

2/ Do we just continue to bury our heads in the sand until eventually we donā€™t have a choice anymore? Youā€™re forced into the digital space and every single thing you do is trackedā€¦

Do you actually want the latter for your kids?

I donā€™t want to scare you, but I do want to give you a gentle tap on the shoulder so that you start forward thinking about this a little bit.

My journey in the crypto space hasnā€™t just been about investing and finding the lucrative returns to help us kick goals, itā€™s also been about doing my bit as a mum to three kids that I know will HAVE to understand this stuff, whether I like it or not. The more I learn and grow in the space the more I actually fear my kids NOT being equipped to control what they earn and deserve to keep ā˜ŗļø
