💙 Loneliness Awareness Week 💙

To recognise Loneliness Awareness Week, S4E catered a special community lunch in partnership with Westall Community Hub and Kingston Council.

Our participants help cook and serve roast chicken, roast veggies, fresh salads and cake. Bringing people together to share good food, conversation and connection. 🍗🥗🍰

A wonderful reminder of the importance of community, inclusion and belonging. 💙

At S4E, our Woodworking & Furniture Restoration Program gives participants the opportunity to learn practical woodworking skills while transforming old furniture into something new. From sanding and repairing to painting and finishing, every project builds confidence, creativity, teamwork, and valuable employment skills—all while giving forgotten furniture a second life. 🪵🔨♻️
