South East Community Links South East Community Links works to achieve better social and economic
outcomes for vulnerable communities.

We work alongside multicultural communities to offer real and
meaningful solutions that are trusted, place-based and people-centred
including:

*Financial wellbeing and counselling to get money back on track
*Youth education, employment, housing and social participation
*Family violence services ensuring women and families are safe
*Housing and homelessness
*Settlement to support newly arrived refugees and migrants
*Employment for people from CALD communities
*Emergency relief for people in crisis
*Community development to build capacity and inclusion.

Rates are up. Bills are up. And who has the time to sort it all out? 💜

Cost of living is squeezing households across Victoria. Between rate rises, rising bills and busy lives, it’s easy to let things pile up, and that worry can build into real stress.

Bring Your Bills Day is your chance to stop, set aside a few hours, and finally deal with it.

Come along and sit down face-to-face with our friendly SECL team and our partners, who are all there for one reason: to help you.

🎶 Lights On. Volume Up. Youthlinks After Dark!

📣 MASSIVE shoutout to everyone who rocked up to SECL Youthlinks first ever Live music event 'Youthlinks After Dark' last Friday! 🎶✨

SECL Youthlinks EPIC Rhythms Amplify Committee were the true rockstars, working tirelessly to put the whole event together and set up the Stage for our budding musicians.

With over 100 people in the audience-friends, families, classmates, teachers-the whole southeast community represented and had a fantastic time watching the incredible performances! 🎤🎸

A huge thank you to Noble Park Community Centre for providing the amazing venue and CGD Youth Services for the support, and to Amplify and the Victorian Government for funding and supporting this program to give our local youth a platform to shine! 🌟

Special shoutout to our SECL Youthlinks Team, Community Connectors and FV staff for showing up, supporting, and bringing the energy to make the night a success! 💜

South East Community Links (SECL) is proud to celebrate the naming of Merle Parade in Dandenong — a lasting tribute to Merle Mitchell AM, the driving force behind our forerunner organisation, the Springvale Community Aid and Advice Bureau (SCAAB).
Merle was a nationally recognised social justice advocate who spent her life fighting for fairness, inclusion and opportunity for our community. Her vision and tireless dedication laid the foundation for the work we continue today, decades on, in our purpose of: Every person counts. Every system fair."
