Enric R. Madriguera was a Barcelona-born violinist. He played concerts as a child before studying at the Barcelona Conservatory. He was lead violinist in Boston's Symphony orchestras in his 20s, then conductor of the Cuban Philharmonic, before becoming a dance band leader with his Music if the Americas. His sister was pianist Paquita Madriguera was the second wife of Andres Segovia.
